Essential Qualification

The minimum education qualification required for the posts are as follows,

3 Years full-time Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy/ Electronics / Ceramic/ Mining (with Overman/Mining Foreman certificate from DGMS) / Mine Surveying (Surveyor certificate from DGMS) recognized by AICTE/UGC

OR

Diploma in Electronics / Mechatronics from RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur

OR

Diploma in Electronics / Mechatronics from J N Tata Technical Education Centre, Gopalpur

OR

Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics from Tata Steel Technical Institute, Burmamines

Note: Candidates in the final year of their academic session leading to the award of Diploma by July 2020 are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• For General Candidates: Should have been born between March 1, 1991 and July 31, 2003 (both days inclusive)
• For SC/ST Candidates: Should have been born between March 1, 1990 and July 31, 2003 (both days inclusive)

Age Relaxation:

Relaxation of 5 years is admissible to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in upper age limit. In the case of PWD candidates, a relaxation of 10 years age admissible in upper age limit.

 Minimum Physical standards:

• Height: 152 cm. (for girls 142 cm)  
• Weight: 45 Kg. (for girls 40 Kg.)
• Expansion of Chest: 5 cm          
• Eyesight: 6/6 in both eyes with glass
• Power of Glasses ± 4.0 maximum 
• Colour Vision: Normal

Scale of Pay

Selected candidates will be given a stipend of ₹11,935/- per month in accordance with the level 6 pay matrix.

Duration of Training:

12 (Twelve) months starting from 30th July 2020.

Examination Fee

Candidates are required to pay the application fee of ₹300.

Modes of payment of examination fee

Payment of the examination fee can be done through Online Payment Gateway in the application only. 

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be made through an online written test.
