Essential Qualification

The minimum education qualification required for the posts are as follows,

BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM)/ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM)/ DAK SEVAKSecondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marksin Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or electivesubjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by theGovernment of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be amandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin DakSevaks.(Referred to in Directorate Order No 17-31/2016-GDS dated 25.06.2018).

Age Limit

The minimum required to apply for the above posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit required for the post is 40 years.

Scale Of Pay

Selected candidates will be given a salary per month as,

Examination Fee

OC/OBC/EWS candidates are required to pay application of ₹100  for the post of BPM/ABPM/Dak savak. All-female candidate, as well as PWD candidates are exempt from the payment of application fees.

Modes of payment of examination fee

Payment of the examination fee can be done through online using URl/banking/debit card/credit card or UPI and for offline payment you can pay through post office challan from any post office or through State Bank challan from any branch of SBI.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be made through merit list.
